Alias: Marshall's Gadgets, Season Two
Marshall
provides many of the show's lighter moments with his cool
gadgets and social ineptness. Here are some of the many gadgets
he has demonstrated at SD-6 (Season 2):
Episode
1: The Enemy Walks In
- Bugging
a phone using the wire instead of the phone.
- Memorable
Marshall moment: "What
we have here is a phone you might find, you know, it's--talking
to (picks it up) 'Hello, Mom. Yeah, Mom. No, I will be there.
Listen is Aunt Ruthie going to be there?'"
Episode
2: Trust Me
- A stethoscope
that is placed over the dial of a cell phone and can unlock
the combination of a safe.
- Memorable
Marshall moment:
"Now, it looks like just a normal metal detector. Well,
it is. That's right, we're going old school on this one."
Episode
3: Cipher
- Memorable
Marshall moment (to Sydney):
"Because if you're stuck in the ducts when the rocket
launches, then, well, boom. And I'd miss you."
Episode
4: Dead Drop
- Keys
disguised as a pinned set of medals.
- Memorable
Marshall moment:
Marshall accidentally pierces himself on the medals. "Owww!
Actually, it felt kind of good."
Episode
5: The Indicator
- Cameras
hidden in a tube of lipstick.
- Memorable
Marshall moment:
"What I have here is an ordinary tube of lip gloss.
Let's say you're at the beach and your lips are feeling
a little -- 'My lips are chapped!'-- or you're possibly
on a date, it's the end of the night and some smooching.
You want your lips to be supple. (He puts some on.) Pistachio.
That's my favorite flavor."
Episode
6: Salvation
- A briefcase
that activates a tank of halothane (an anesthesia).
- A mix
of anti-anesthesia.
- Memorable
Marshall moment: "Okay,
you're going to Geneva to get a sample of a top-secret virus.
Now, your cover is you're going in for kidney transplants.
Well, now, you're probably thinking now, 'Hold on a second,
Marshall! We need our kidneys!'"
Episode
7: Counteragent
- Memorable
Marshall moment: "Do
you know that polar bears can't be detected by infrared
photography? Their fur emits no heat. Nothing. Nada. Zip."
